We are blessed in
Alloway to be situated amongst many key sites of interest from the
life and work of Burns. The cottage where he was born is a central
feature and also has an associate museum of Burns memorabilia.
The Auld Kirk at Alloway and the Brig o’ Doon are of course features
of Tam’s ride, Ailsa Craig can be seen from the sea shore at
Doonfoot and of course the “Bonnie Doon” flows through the village.
